Umbrellas In The Rice Terrace

Umbrellas in rice paddies

Some umbrellas were seen in the path among the rice padiies

Shot in the village of Maligcong, Philippines.

The rice terraces were spreading on the outskirt of the village. And the narrow path was threading through them. It was the only way to the bus stop. So anyone who wanted to go to the city by bus had to go through this path.

When I was walking the path, I saw a mother and her kids walking together ahead of me. They moved slowly while they put an umbrella up. Rice was produced in paddies so much. I felt the picking season was approaching.
