A woman was walking the pedestrian crossing while she was putting an umbrella up. It wasn't raining and she seemed to care about the ultraviolet ray. A smooth and white skin was needed from a cosmetic perspective also in this country.
I had a sneaking suspicion that it was the one of the reasons of the white person complex which most Japanese had. The commercial was speaking the call of the white skin in repeating fashion also today.
