A boy was playing near his mother who was working at a food stall on the side of the road in Dalah. In such cases, children of a certain age are usually helping their parents with their work. This boy, however, was different. He was simply playing. The boy, who had a lot of free time on his hands, noticed me wandering down the street and gave me a curious look. His gaze was so powerful that I was drawn to approach the stall.
The boy seemed to be a little excited by the sudden appearance of a foreigner. At the same time, he seemed to be embarrassed. He stood between the bamboo pillars and smiled shyly as I took my camera away.
