A girl with Thanaka on her face happily leaned out of the window
I was walking down a country road and saw a modest house. I see a young girl at the window. I look at her, wondering what she is doing, and the girl immediately notices me and starts looking at me. It must be rare to see a foreigner around Dalah.
As I approach the house with the girl, camera in hand, she leans out the window as if in response. She was stretching as tall as she could and had a big smile on her face, which was painted all over with Thanaka. She looked very happy.
