Shoemaker Under The Unbrella

shoemaker under unbrella

The man worked under the sunshade

Shot in the city of Rangpur, Bangladesh.

A shoemaker was doing his business by the roadside. To avoid the strong sun, he was sitting on a small stand under the umbrella. The locals usually wore sandals. I thought those who wore shoes were only rich men here. So most of what was brought to him seemed to be sandals.

A sandal was in his hand and he was just repairing it without saying a word. I thought craftsman was reticence usually in everywhere in the world.
