Some figures were moving silently in the lane
The alleyway in this photo is also in the old town of Marrakech, but its atmosphere is quite different from that of the noisy Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Even within the Old City, the area lined with houses is still surrounded by silence. The hustle and bustle of the city was not felt. There were not many people walking around, and I was the only tourist. Perhaps this was the true face of this town. Even the locals must be tired of being in the midst of the constant buzz of a tourist destination.
In such an alleyway, I found a mother and her child sitting at the end of the alley.
