Squalls were falling. Squalls in Morocco are as intense as those in Southeast Asia. I had lost all desire to go out. I returned to my room at the hotel and looked out the window at the town of Marrakech. Few people would be crazy enough to walk in such a downpour. The ground was soaked with water.
Nonetheless, after a while a lone man appeared on the waterlogged street. He was walking among the trees in the rain. Although he was holding an umbrella, it might not mean anything when it was raining so hard. No wonder he was already soaked all over.
