Pile Of Mangoes

Pile of mangoes

The woman was selling mangoes by the roadside

Shot at Phra Nakhon District in Bangkok, Thailand.

Along with other street vendors, the older woman in this photo was also doing business by the roadside. What she was selling was mango. Many mangoes were piled upon her wagon. They were juicy and looked delicious. These mangoes seemed to be Nam Doc Mai, a mango cultivar which originated in Thailand. It is said that this cultivar is one of the sweetest mongo in the mango cultivars.

The street vendor was a bit awed by my camera when I focused on her. However, she was beaten down. And she started to smile slightly.
