The hawker took a puff in a corner of the market
When I was wandering around the market in the city of Malda, I came across the man in this photo. The man with a mustache was a peddler. There was a large basket beside him, filled with mangoes. There was also a scale next to the basket for weighing and selling mangoes. He was selling mangoes here.
From the looks of it, the man was just taking a break. He was squatting next to a basket and smoking a cigarette. He didn't stop smoking as I approached. I didn't know why, but the man seemed to intuitively know that I wasn't his customer.
