I stepped into what looked like an old Shanghai apartment complex. An alleyway was stretched out between the old buildings. The sun was still high, so the only people in the alley were the laundry and the old people. The laundry was rustling in the wind, and the old ladies were chatting about something.
But the old man was different from old women. He was sitting alone by the wayside, with no friends nearby. Seeing him like this, it was a bit frightening, as if I was watching the fate of workaholic people. This may be the end of the old age for those who do not have the ability to socialize.
