Walked toward the hotel. Although I thought I fitted in fine with the local people, I was the only one who thought that. Most of the people walking the street didn't care about me. Yet some people watched me carefully when they found me. My appearance and my camera might be easy to notice.
The man in this photo was one of them. He talked to me when I came to him. Many newspapers were in his hand. He was a newsvendor. In spite of the popularization of smartphones, many local people still bought the newspaper to know the current affairs.
When he noticed me, he didn't try to sell me his articles for sale. He was just interested in my gear. So I fulfilled his expectation. Holding my camera, he smiled and threw a deuce so happily.
