The men boarded the bus and waited for it to leave
The men were sitting on the seats of an open-built automobile with no doors or windows. At first glance, it looks like a golf cart driving on a golf course, but this is not a golf course. We were in the town of Berhampore. This vehicle is a shared-ride bus, and the men in the photo are its passengers. They were waiting for the bus to depart.
As the men sat on their seats, they noticed the camera and started looking at me at once. Most of them smiled at me. One gave me a thumbs up, as if he was enjoying himself. Among them, only the young man on the far right had a suspicious look on his face.
