There was a car parked by the side of the alley I was walking down. Bangkok is a big city and many cars are running around the city. Many automobile factories have been built in Thailand. Most of them are owned by Japanese automakers such as Toyota, Honda, and Mitsubishi.
Of course, there are also factories of non-Japanese manufacturers. For example, a Swedish manufacturer called Scania has a plant in Samut Prakan. What surprised me the most was that there was also a factory of a Thai automaker named Thai Rung. With all due respect, I had no idea that Thailand had its car manufacturer. Even though I was not observing, I don't remember seeing any cars of this manufacturer during my stay in Bangkok, and I don't remember seeing any in Japan either. I didn't even know they existed, so there was no way I could have noticed them.
That being said, a cat was relaxing on the hood of a car parked in an alley in Chinatown. When I approached it, it gave me a sharp look. It didn't seem to welcome my approach. It must have thought I was a distraction to its relaxing time.
