Shot in the city of Malda, India.
When I came to the riverside, I found many people in the shallow water. Many local people, almost men, were washing their body in the Mahananda River. Perhaps, there were no bathrooms in their houses. And the river was a bath for the people. It looked like a public bath which was entirely free of charge.
The man in the photo was one of them. He just finished washing and was still sopping wet. When I held my camera, he flexed his arm happily.
