Unless you go to a spacious place such as the upper floors of a skyscraper or a riverbank, you can hardly see the sight of only the sky in Tokyo. In Tokyo, which has a high population density, buildings are built here and there, and the sky is narrow.
That's why it makes me happy when I come across a scene that seems to be empty. Especially if I could meet unexpectedly. The same was true when I came to the bell tower of Komyo-ji Temple in Unoki. I went up the stairs to see the bell tower, but what caught my eye was not the bell tower, but a tree standing beside it. I can't see the building behind the trees, only the sky is spreading.
Around the bell tower, which is a graveyard, only one place was raised. It is covered with grass and a tree stands at the top. The standing tree seems to be staring at the surroundings. The atmosphere is a little different from the surroundings. It is said that this is a tumulus. It was built at the end of the 5th century, and it is said that it was used as it was as a tomb for the surrounding dogs and their clan's party until the Muromachi period after the Kofun period.
When I looked into the viewfinder to take a picture of the standing tree, summer clouds were floating in the sky.
