Many people were coming and going around the gate
After I entered into this temple, I stopped at the top of the stairway and looked back. A big wooden gate was seen. And many people are passing through the main gate which was built in 1621. Some worshipers were resting on the steps. I found a woman putting an umbrella up in the crowd.
This temple is the head temple of the Pure Land Sect of Buddhism and was originally built in 1175. The Tokugawa shogunate provided sanctuary.
