A wide river called Ben Tre river flowed into the city. Watching the river from the riverbank, a ship appeared in my sight. It loaded up coconuts. I saw some consolidating points for coconuts in this tranquil city. And coconuts tree stood along the river.
Although an idyllic scene was seen here, this city was a site of bloodiest combat during the Vietnam War. Yet no traces were left now. In today's environment, this city was wrapped by the pastoral atmosphere.
