Ferocious Animals By The Roadside

ferocious animals by roadside

The statues were watching the traffic with a severe expression

Shot in the old town of Bhaktapur, Nepal.

There were two statues of ferocious animal with sharp teeth and eyes, probably they were lions, at the entrance of a Hindu temple. In any circumstances, they seemed to be acting menacingly. They might be guarding the temple against evils.

If they were not careful, they allowed the evils entering. So they couldn't relax even for a moment. I thought to guard temple was a tough assignment. And it was impossible for me.
