Walking along the street, I came to what appeared to be a Buddhist temple. This was probably a Tibetan Buddhist temple. There are many Tibetan refugees living in Kathmandu, and there is even a Tibetan Buddhist holy place called Boudhanath in the suburbs, so it is no surprise that there is a Tibetan Buddhist temple in the city.
A large stupa stood in the center of the temple grounds, surrounded by buildings. A closer look at the window of the building revealed that it was open and a monk clad in a robes was peeking out. The bespectacled monk was looking out, resting on his cheekbones. When he noticed my camera, he smiled at me.
