Many massive architectures stood side by side near the Zocalo. And the wide streets stretched straightly. This area which was overbuilt on the capital of the Aztec Empire by Spanish was set out neatly in a grid. The cityscape was completely Europeanized. And I couldn't feel the atmosphere of time of the Aztecs here.
A pedestrian crossing was under the traffic light and some pedestrians were just crossing. I wondered how it was if the Spanish didn't come here.
