An unpaved road was stretching straight toward the ocean. No houses were seen around me. The electric poles stood side by side. And some electrical lines were running along with the road. I could see the spreading sky at the end of the road.
Both sides of the road were sugar cane fields. Because the wires were stretched to the ocean, there were some dwellings at the end of the road. The wires were the only things which I felt a sign of life here.
