Both sides of the road I was biking on were pastures. Kohama Island has a thriving livestock industry, and pastureland is everywhere. It seemed that the harvesting season had arrived, and I could see that the cut grass was being rounded up. It seems to be the custom here to round up the grass instead of piling it up. There were round objects lying here and there in the pasture.
When I look at the grass rolls from afar, they kind of look like rolls. But these are not for human consumption, but for cows. Clouds were floating in the sky.
