The sidewalk under the railroad tracks in Shibuya is dimly lit even in the daytime. The pedestrians passing through here were silhouetted as they moved. There was one spot in the dimly lit sidewalk where the sun was shining through a crack. A young woman was standing there.
The woman, who had been standing still with her arms crossed, was looking in my direction and seemed to be asserting her existence to me. She seemed to be asserting her presence to me, as if she were on a stage in the spotlight. I wasn't sure, but I thought my eyes met the woman's through the viewfinder.
