A woman was climbing the bridge with a stairway
Most of the bridges spanned over the water channels in Suzhou were arched. Because the ships and boats could go through under the bridge. So it was needed to climb stairways to cross any water channels. The bridge in this photo was one of the bridges with the stairway.
During watching the bridge, an old woman came and started to climb the stairway. The city of Suzhou is a riverside district and flat. Nevertheless, I had to climb up and down many times during walking around the streets because there were many bridges with a stairway like this.
