I was walking along the river, which is protected by a seawall. The river runs in the residential area of Jakarta, the river seems to be in danger of overflowing when it rains heavily, both banks are firmly covered with concrete walls. If this river overflows, it will be trouble. There are houses close to the river here. It would be a disaster.
But it was a clear day when I was walking, and there was no danger of the river rising. Where the river is, there are no tall buildings and the sky is open. It was the perfect weather for flying a kite into the sky. The boy in this photo was also flying a kite into the blue sky, walking over a concrete wall. He was maneuvering a kite string on the narrow wall.
Meanwhile, I looked down at the road along the river and saw a man in a blue hat pushing a cart. The man was carrying gas cylinders. I don't know why, but all the gas cylinders I see in Jakarta are green. The gas cylinders this man was carrying were all green, too. In Japan, gas cylinders are painted according to their contents; therefore, gas cylinders used at stalls may be green in Indonesia as well.
