I was looking at the exit of the alley when a woman in a hat cycled across the street
I was walking down a narrow alley I found in My Tho. The alley was so narrow that it was difficult to pass each other, with buildings looming on both sides, but motorcycles and bicycles were running through. As I walked along, feeling as if I was lost in a three-dimensional maze, I saw the exit of the alley ahead of me.
I saw a woman with a white hat riding a bicycle across the exit. The sun was shining there, there was a wide street, and there were many cars driving by. There was a different world at the end of the alley from the one in the alley where a claustrophobic person would have a hard time breathing.
