White clouds floated across the empty Yarahama beach
Yarahama beach was empty and deserted. While the rest of Japan is becoming a tourist destination, the wave of tourism does not seem to have reached Hatoma Island yet. Not only the sounds of human activity, but also the sounds of animals could not be heard. All that can be heard is the sound of the waves. Clouds float silently in the distance. Standing alone on the edge of the waves, I feel as if I have arrived on a deserted island.
Of course, there are people living on Hatoma Island. But there are so few of them that I rarely see them as I walk around the island, and the only sounds I hear are the clouds and the tides playing on the beach. Ripples were lapping the beach. The waves on this beach seemed to be a bit higher than those on the beaches of Taketomi Island and Hateruma Island.
