The alleyways in the old town of Casablanca, like the alleyways in other old towns in Morocco, are all narrow and sandwiched between buildings. No cars are allowed to drive, and only people walk around. While it is inconvenient, it has become more environmentally friendly. Cats are also often seen, so it seems that cats, like humans, freely come and go in the narrow alleys.
As I was strolling down the alley, I saw a young woman sitting in a corner of the alley. She was talking to someone who was out of sight of me. She was happily making small talk without paying any attention to the passers-by. Here, the alleys exude daily life.
Since Morocco is a predominantly Muslim country, this young woman was also wearing a hijab to cover her hair.
