Some food stalls were doing business on the edge of the wide street. The spot was a bus stop. And it was busy. Many people were hanging out there. The older woman in this photo was one of them.
She wore a saree and a big red dot was seen between her eyebrows. The dot was a bindi which was some kind of symbol of Hinduism. The major religion in this country is Hindu. And it was common to see people wearing the symbol during walking around the streets.
