Just outside the south exit of Shinjuku Station is a local diner. The area around this restaurant and drinking establishment is being redeveloped all around, but this area does not seem to have been affected by the redevelopment yet. This diner, which looks like it has been around for a long time, is still in business.
At the entrance of the diner, there is a showcase with food samples on display. The showcases are brightly lit, as if they are attracting customers to the diner like mothballs. However, not everyone is attracted to the lights. This woman passed by the diner without so much as a glance.
