Four children were riding on stilts on a street corner in Zaachila. They were not children's stilts, but real stilts, like a street performer's. When I saw them walking dexterously on long stilts with their legs attached, they must have been practicing on them on a regular basis.
These children didn't just wear stilts for fun, they were wearing them to participate in a festival parade. All the children on stilts were boys, but two of the four were dressed as girls. They were dressed for the festival. The boys were on stilts, waiting on the side of the road for the parade to start.
