On this day, too, a wedding ceremony was being held at Meiji Jingu Shrine. Even though the number of weddings may vary depending on the day of the week, many people hold their weddings at Meiji Jingu Shrine. It is not a bad thing to see the bride and groom enjoying themselves as they parade through the shrine grounds, as it makes me feel as if I have received a share of their happiness, even though I am neither a relative nor a party to the wedding.
Photography is an integral part of weddings. Even during the procession, there is always a photographer accompanying the couple, snapping pictures. Even near the prayer hall, a bride in a kimono was having her picture taken. The bride was smiling happily.
