Woman Walking Through The Gate

Woman under gate

I found a figure under the gate

Shot at Nezu JInja, a Shinto shrine in Nezu, Tokyo. The big gate in the photo is 'SAKURA MON'. It means 'Gate of Cherry tree'. According to legend, this shrine was built about 1900 years ago. Yet I thought it was an exaggerated claim. Commonly, it was considered that 1900 years before present was the Yayoi Period, an Iron Age era in the history of this country. A long history might have great effect to make people appreciate.

A woman with an umbrella was just walking through the gate.
