A large number of worshippers were walking along the approach to Nezu Shrine. There were food stalls lining both sides of the path. It was a fair day, and all the people walking by were enjoying the fair. As I was weaving my way through the crowd wondering what to buy and eat at the stall, I saw a little girl standing next to a baby stroller.
Despite the joyful atmosphere that surrounded her, the girl looked up with a sullen look on her face. She seemed to be appealing to her parents for something. Looking at her wrinkled face, it seemed that this girl was the only one who was not enjoying herself while everyone else was. Perhaps they didn't buy her what she wanted. I would like to tell such a girl something. I want to teach her that when she grows up, she will be able to buy as much as she wants.
