It was cool to see the less frequented staircase of the Asian Gallery from above

Compared to the main building, which stands grandly in front of you as you enter the gate, the Asian Gallery, which stands to the right, has a more subdued impression, and the exterior, composed entirely of straight lines, looks more serious. But the impression inside is a little different. There are no doors separating the exhibition rooms from the rest of the building, and you are led through a winding and tortuous museum, with a series of rooms that are lazy and elusive. The lighting is dim and the place is never crowded, so walking through the museum feels like walking through a labyrinth. In fact, no one would be surprised if there is a secret door somewhere along the way.

The interior of the Asian Gallery has a well thought-out route, so that if you enter on the ground floor and walk through the exhibition rooms one by one, you will naturally reach the top floor. In such a situation, there is a staircase that is not included in the route. They are not hidden behind emergency doors like a fire escape, but few people pass through them. Like the exterior of the Asian Gallery, the staircase is made up of straight lines and is beautiful, like a geometric pattern. I spent a long time looking at it from above.
