The boy I met in the streets painted Thanaka on his face like other locals. And Thanaka was painted in a random fashion. I wondered whether that was because of the cutting corners or the fashion. In the first place, I didn't have the mindset to paint Thanaka on my face.
The way of painting came in all colors, shapes and sizes. Anyway, he smiled cheerfully when I focused on him. He didn't know what I was wondering.
