Stairway Of Nyatapola Temple

stairway of Nyatapola Temple

Many statues were placed along the staircase

Shot at Toumadhi Square in Bhaktapur, Nepal.

A Hindu temple called Nyatapola Temple stood in Toumadhi Square. Like many other temples in this country, it was also built on the terraced platform. The stairway in this photo is the entrance of the Temple.

It is flanked by some statues of guardsmen. Two men were sitting beside the statue of the elephant on the staircase and chatting. Because they were surrounded by the guardsmen, their secret would be not disclosed.
