There is a long stairway at the entrance of Kodai-Ji. Some figures were seen on the top of the staircase. This temple was established in 1606 by the widow of Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
The enormous number of the temples and shrines were in this ancient capital. I wondered how many temples and shrines were in Kyoto city. And I also wandered the fact meant that the people of the past were faithful or the religious school was too much segmented.
