Pointing my camera at a stout man, he returned his sharp gaze
Waling the streets in Pune, I met a stout man. I am a little shorter than the average height of men in Japan. And most of the Indian men were taller than me. Therefore, most of them looked down on me when we met.
This stout man was also taller than me. He wore a cap and cast piercing eyes. He might be busy. And he could not have time for a foreign stranger. After I shot some photos of him, he started to work again soon. Perhaps the reason why he directed a keen look was not only the difference od the height. I might be just an intruder for him.
