I was walking along a street on the outskirts of the town of Pyay. It was hot, so few people like me were traveling on foot. The locals would immediately take a pedicab called a Saiq-ka. Saiq-ka is inexpensive and can be found anywhere, so they are easy to ride. Once on a Saiq-ka, people would pass me on my slow walk.
At this time, I was walking at a slow pace by myself. Then a Saiq-ka passed me. On the seat were two women holding umbrellas. One of them looked at me and smiled, but her smile quickly faded away along with the Saiq-ka.
