The city of Luang Prabang, which is registered as a world heritage site, was reasonably well maintained, but they didn't seem to be able to reach Ban Xieng Maen on the other side of the Mekong River. The road from the boat landing was not paved, but gravel road.
As I was walking on the gravel road, a girl came walking over there pushing her bike. It didn't look like she had a flat tire, but the girl didn't get on her bike, she was walking it every step of the way. I didn't know why she didn't get on her bike. Maybe she was taking good care of her precious bike so it wouldn't get damaged on the gravel road.
