I found a metal door at the end of the lane when I was rambling along the old quarter. It was a non-descript doorway. And it was closed tightly as if it intimidated the strangers by threats. So I imagined that the door was opened while it creaking to issue a warning.
The old town was surrounded by the thick wall and the houses inside were guarded by the metal gate. The dwellers were secured doubly.
