The shrine was small. Yet it has a long history. According to legend, it was built in 709. Now it was standing silently in the residential area.

A watering place was placed at the entrance and some wooden ladle was there. Like other many religions, it is believed that water has a power to purify in Shintoism. And the prayers who come to the shrine have to wash their hands before praying. I washed my hands and entered into the shrine.
