Hand-in-hand Combat

Sumo wrestler
Shot at Yasukuni Jinja, a Shinto shrine in Kudan, Tokyo tetsuOzawa

A sumo competition was held

Many people were around the sumo ring in the precinct. An athletic meeting was being held at the time of visiting. And two sumo wrestlers were just fighting on the ring.

Although the professional sumo was very popular also for me, I have never met any people whose hobby was playing sumo. To enjoy sumo meant to see sumo, not to play sumo for most of the people. Because the population was decreasing in this country, the player numbers might be also decreasing.
