The moon-faced woman refused an eye contact when I held my camera
A moon-faced woman was working in a market in Tehuantepec. The woman, who was wearing large earrings, seemed a bit confused when the camera was pointed at her. When I held the camera up, she looked away for a moment. And she never looked at me and the camera again.
Even in Mexico, most of the people working in the market are women. I saw a lot of women working in the market in Thailand, and it seems to be the same here in Mexico. The men may be doing heavy work elsewhere.
