I saw a figure walking at the end of an alleyway between towering buildings
The alley I was walking down was supposed to extend through a residential area in the old town of Meknes, but I hardly saw any residents as I walked along. I guessed that there were many people living in the buildings that stood tall on both sides of the alley, but the sounds of life inside did not reach the alley. The alley was like a ghost town. I was the only foreigner walking around fluently. Maybe the people who live there were not at home and were working somewhere, but it is still a lonely atmosphere.
As I walked down the quiet alleyway, the only moving thing I saw was a figure walking at the end of the alleyway. However, the figure soon disappeared somewhere else and I couldn't see it.
