A figure was seen walking down an empty alley in the old city
The alley of Meknes was deserted. A figure was trotting across the alley between the aged buildings. There was no one around, and it was silent.
The road surface was damaged, but there was no dust on it. This may be partly due to the fact that this is a part of the tourist area, but the alleyway seems to be well-maintained. There were no stores in this alley, nor were there any front doors. But someone was probably cleaning up the alley.
However, I don't recall seeing anyone cleaning the alley while I was wandering around the old city. Perhaps they may be cleaning the streets in the middle of the night when no tourists are out and about, so as not to be seen by the tourists.
