I had to make an unscheduled stop on this island because of the bad weather. After the weather got better, I rambled along the port. When I stood on a corner of a street, I found a cathedral on the top of the hill. It was the cathedral of Saint Nicholas. And it seemed to be looking after the whole city from there.
By the way, Saint Nicholas was a guardian of the mariners in this country. It was very different from Japan. In Japan, he was a person who gave presents to children once a year.
