There was a woman carrying a balance pole and peddling. You might think this is some kind of countryside, but this is the heart of Shanghai, not far from the Bund, a tourist attraction. Shanghai is developing rapidly, but there are still people like her who continue to run old-fashioned businesses in the ever-changing city.
The generation that is enjoying the fruits of the "post-90" reform and open-door policy and experiencing the rapid development of the information society is in the same place as the vendor in the photo, but I can't help but feel that there is a gap between them. This is supposed to be a communist country. Is this prejudice?
