It might not be during the tourist period. Few tourists visited this temple at the time of visiting. Just the same, I didn't see the monks during rambling along the precinct. They could be busy to concentrate on daily tasks.
There was a wooden bridge called Tsutenbashi in the precinct. And I saw a figure walking on the bridge during I watched. The figure was a monk. He walked at a brisk trot. He seemed to have a lot of things to do as I imagined.
